In October we plant a few acres Fritillaries, they are covered with straw to protect them from frost. In the first months of the year, the land where the Fritillaries have been planted, is fertilized. During the growth period, the crop is checked for growth and diseased bulbs.
In spring (April and May) the Fritillaries are in full bloom. In June, when the foliage is separating from the bulb, we harvest the bulbs. At home, the bulbs are put under the roof to be dried by the wind. After sorting them in different sizes and packaging of the bulbs, they are delivered to various exporters. The Fritillaries are exported to countries all over the world. The small bulbs are planted again in October for the following year.
